Restaurats, a cooperative medieval tavern simulation game developed by Tor Studio, has released a free demo on Steam as of July 2025. Players take on the roles of rat characters managing a chaotic tavern, handling tasks such as serving customers, cooking, and cleaning in a dynamic, multiplayer environment. The demo aims to introduce the game’s unique blend of management and cooperative gameplay to a wider audience ahead of the full release.
According to the official Steam announcement, the demo is available worldwide and supports both single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing up to four players to collaborate or compete in running the tavern. The developers emphasize the game’s focus on teamwork and fast-paced action, set in a richly detailed medieval setting inhabited by anthropomorphic rodents.
