On June 2024, the developers of MindsEye have rolled out an urgent hotfix to resolve multiple technical problems reported since the game’s launch. According to the official statement from the development team, the patch targets stability improvements, bug fixes, and performance optimization to enhance player experience. The update is now available on all supported platforms via automatic download. For detailed patch notes, players can visit the official MindsEye website.
The patch, version v1.009, is available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the Xbox version exceeding 8GB and the PS5 version over 4GB. It includes structural adjustments affecting AI behavior, weapon control, cover systems, animations, and vehicle physics. Stability issues, especially those occurring during extended play sessions, have been addressed.
Gameplay balance has also been refined: AI shooting accuracy has been increased at medium difficulty, requiring players to use cover more strategically. Some missions have been tweaked to remove obstacles such as unclear checkpoints and AI malfunctions.
The PC version update is delayed due to a performance issue unique to that platform, with no release date announced yet.
Additional improvements include more realistic vehicle handling on slopes, enhanced sound effects, and better localization support. Issues like “player invisibility” and “instant death when exiting moving vehicles” have been fixed.
MindsEye is an adventure game developed by Build A Rocket Boy and published by IO Interactive A/S, released on June 11, 2025, for PC. The game features gunfights and player-versus-player combat.
