Fusheng Youge is a visual novel set in an alternate Three Kingdoms era, developed by Phantom Step Studio and published by 2P Games. Recently, the game introduced community items and collectible cards on the Steam platform.
During the Steam Summer Sale from June 27 to July 12, players can enjoy a 20% discount, bringing the price down to just 28 yuan.
Players can randomly obtain card drops during gameplay. Collecting or trading to gather six cards allows players to craft exclusive Fusheng Youge badges, unlocking special profile backgrounds and emoticons. Cards can also be purchased directly from the Steam Points Shop.
Set in the late Eastern Han dynasty, a mysterious plague ravages the land amid war and famine. Players assume the roles of three legendary physicians—Hua Tuo, Zhang Zhongjing, and Dong Feng—who navigate the chaotic political landscape involving warlords like Cao Cao and Yuan Shao. Using medical skills, political strategy, and even divine powers, they strive to save the people and uncover the dark truth behind the epidemic.
The game features a card-based narrative adventure with multiple storylines from the perspectives of the three protagonists. Dynamic card performances vividly depict the story, where every decision impacts character fates and story branches, leading to different endings.
Each character has unique interactive card gameplay involving pathology diagnosis, herbal concoction, and healer training. These mini-games test players’ observation, calculation, and dexterity while deepening their knowledge of ancient medicine.
Players can collect scattered “notes” throughout the game, revealing stories behind various Three Kingdoms artifacts, such as the Seven-Star Sword gifted by Wang Yun to Cao Cao for assassinating Dong Zhuo. These notes help piece together clues to unveil the conspiracy behind the plague.
