The latest installment in the GARO series, the movie “GARO TAIGA,” has released its teaser trailer. The film is set to premiere in Japan on October 17, 2025.
Marking the 20th anniversary of the GARO franchise, “GARO TAIGA” explores the younger days of Taiga Saejima, the father of Kouga Saejima, the protagonist from the 2005 series. The original creator, Keita Amemiya, returns after six years to direct and write the screenplay.
The teaser also revealed the main cast: Shoichiro Kitada stars as Taiga Saejima, Rika Kamishima plays the female lead Fuki, Kazuki Haga portrays the sacred beast Byakko, and Toshiki Seto takes on the antagonist role of Jado.
