Commander Quest Introduces Genghis Khan and Joins Steam Summer Sale

The PC game “Commander Quest” by Flyway Games, a creative studio under KRAFTON, has released its latest content update featuring a new commander, “Genghis Khan,” and is participating in the Steam Summer Sale. From June 27th at 1 AM to July 11th at 9 AM Beijing time, players can purchase the game at a 20% discount.

Responding to player feedback since the game’s official launch in April 2025, which requested richer content, the studio prepared this update. Genghis Khan debuts as the fifth new commander, appearing under his historical name in the human faction and as “Borjigin Temujin” in the dwarf faction. Historically known for conquering vast territories, the in-game design draws inspiration from Mongolian archery and military logistics, making him a commander who strengthens ranged units and accelerates card cycling.

The dwarf faction also receives nine new cards, offering players more strategic options. These include mythic-level cards inspired by heavy armor and mechanical weapons combining multi-barrel rockets and divine arrows, highlighting the unique charm of the dwarves.

The developers also released player data-based infographics. Within about 60 days after launch, players defeated the boss “Golden Axe Family Dietrich” 432,351 times and failed 21,165 times against the elite boss “Green-loving Gardener.” The relic “Red Notice,” which increases the number of summonable soldiers, was part of decks that achieved 262,740 battle victories, making it the highest win-rate relic.

“Commander Quest” is a strategy game set in a fantasy world featuring humans, dwarves, orcs, and dragons, depicting wars between factions. It combines deck-building, real-time strategy simulation, and roguelike elements to deliver a fresh gaming experience.

Currently, “Commander Quest” supports Korean, English, Japanese, Russian, German, and Simplified Chinese. More details are available on the Steam store page.

“Commander Quest” officially launched on Steam on April 4, 2025, developed and published by Flyway Games, Inc. It is a card strategy roguelike game with tags including history, fantasy, turn-based, card game, roguelike, and military.
