Hideo Kojima has completed the final trailer for “Death Stranding 2” and celebrated the milestone by hosting a special screening party for the Kojima Productions team.
With less than a week remaining until the game’s release on June 26, 2025, anticipation is at an all-time high. Earlier this year, a lengthy 10-minute trailer was released, showcasing extensive story elements and action sequences, including a character reminiscent of “Solid Snake.” However, the official final trailer promises to be shorter and free of plot spoilers, yet still packed with moments that will leave viewers exclaiming, “What?!”
Kojima announced that the trailer will debut on the game’s launch day, June 26. Interestingly, some players will have early access through the “paid early play” version available from June 24, meaning they might have already explored parts of the game by the time the trailer drops.
To mark the completion of the trailer, Kojima Productions held an exclusive viewing party. Kojima revealed that the new trailer contains 180 shots, indicating a substantial amount of new game content to be revealed next week.
