The DLC “Azure Sea Fairy Trail” for the Chinese martial arts game “Swordstorm Chronicles” has been released, introducing a new Mirage Challenge mode. Alongside the DLC launch, a 15% discount is available for the first week, while the base game is also offered at a historic low price with a 20% discount. Additionally, a free side DLC “Tales of the Wu Family” linked to “Hero’s Aspiration: Blood and Honor” is now available.
The update brings a wealth of new content, including the “Mirage Tower” gameplay. After completing the main story once, players can unlock this mode in the second playthrough, where they face off against renowned martial arts masters in tower battles. Successfully completing challenges rewards players with ratings that can be used to further strengthen their team.
Visual customization has been enhanced, allowing the protagonist Yuwen Yi to unlock “Wudang” and “Alliance Leader” appearances through the storyline, which can be freely switched in the character portrait interface. The inheritance system now includes a new tab for appearance switching, where players can spend inheritance points to unlock skins early. New looks for characters Sima Ling and Shangguan Hong are unlocked with the “Azure Sea Fairy Trail” DLC, while a new skin for Lü Xian’er is tied to the “Tales of the Wu Family” DLC.
Furthermore, the combat appearance of the protagonist’s Jade Dragon Spear has been optimized, and an auto-play feature has been added. Players can adjust the playback speed through language settings, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
