PlayStation Showcases Death Stranding 2 at BilibiliWorld 2025 with Kojima and Voice Cast

From July 11 to 13, 2025, the BilibiliWorld 2025 event took place at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center, featuring a dedicated PlayStation booth at Hall 3H, booth 3A09. The booth was designed to immerse visitors in the world of the highly anticipated game “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach,” offering a unique console gaming experience.

During the main stage events on July 11 and 12, Sony Interactive Entertainment (Shanghai) President and CEO Tatsuo Eguchi, alongside the renowned game producer Hideo Kojima, shared the latest updates with fans.

Tatsuo Eguchi emphasized PlayStation’s commitment to bringing top-quality global games to Chinese players and fostering collaboration with Chinese game creators. He highlighted the “China Star Program” as a key localization strategy, aiming to make console gaming a regular part of entertainment for more players.

As part of Kojima Productions’ world tour, Hideo Kojima engaged closely with fans on July 12 at the special “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach” stage, sharing behind-the-scenes stories of the game’s creation. The event also featured a surprise appearance by Shion Wakayama, the Japanese voice actress for the character Tomorrow.

Kojima announced the upcoming release of Chinese voiceovers for “Death Stranding 2,” boasting a star-studded cast. Chinese voice actors Cao Zhen (Sam) and Xu Hui (Fragile) made special appearances, interacting with fans and generating excitement.

The PlayStation booth’s design reflected the game’s visual style, creating a deeply immersive atmosphere for attendees. “Death Stranding 2” invites players to explore a vast, unique open world, making choices between aggressive combat, stealth, or avoidance when facing human or otherworldly enemies.

Powered by the PS5’s advanced capabilities, the game delivers impressive graphics, lighting effects, and combat experiences, offering a next-generation gaming immersion.

Fans also enjoyed various interactive activities, including game trials, delivery challenges, social media tasks, and surveys, with opportunities to earn limited-edition PlayStation passports and exclusive gifts. Returning passport holders were encouraged to visit the booth for stamping.
