Developed by CrisaluGames in collaboration with Team17Digital, the upcoming party cooperative cleaning game “Goblin Maid Cleanup” is set to launch on Steam Early Access on August 28, inviting players into a dungeon world.
After heroes finish their monster-slaying adventures, they often leave a huge mess behind. But fear not, this is when the professional goblin cleaning squad steps in. Players will clean up traps, bloodstains, and debris scattered throughout complex dungeons, wiping down walls and ceilings, and even resetting traps—just be careful not to trap your fellow goblins! The goal is to restore the dungeon to its pre-adventure state.
The goblin maid squad transforms into expert goblin cleaners, working side by side with other goblin colleagues in a thorough, no-corner-left-unclean cooperative cleaning mission. The messier the dungeon, the harder the cleanup. Players will use tools like slime vacuum cleaners, mimic chests, and slime dispensers to remove bloodstains from floors and ceilings.
Restoring the dungeon means repairing and returning items to their rightful places. Resetting traps is essential—after all, a dungeon without traps isn’t really a dungeon. Players must also be cautious of untriggered mechanisms to avoid accidentally harming themselves. Monsters need to be respawned, and their remains cleaned up, but beware—some monsters may still lurk within the dungeon. Don’t forget to refill treasure chests with enticing loot to tempt the next unlucky adventurers.
The dungeons are handcrafted by skilled goblin artisans in the studio, offering players a finely crafted dungeon experience. Louis Reeve, a producer at Team17, shared that the CrisaluGames team is both fun and dedicated to making dungeon cleaning a cooperative experience that brings a smile to players’ faces. They can’t wait to see players clock in for work in “Goblin Maid Cleanup,” but watch your step!
