Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Definitive Edition Announced for August 14, 2025 Release
Relic Entertainment and SEGA have officially announced the release of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Definitive Edition, scheduled for August 14, 2025, on PC. This remastered version will feature improved graphics, full DLC integration, and enhanced mod support, aiming to bring the classic real-time strategy experience to modern audiences.
The Definitive Edition updates the original 2004 title with higher resolution textures, refined visual effects, and updated user interface elements while preserving the core gameplay. According to the official announcement, the developers have also addressed longstanding issues, including fixing typos and balancing adjustments based on community feedback.
The game will be available on Steam with updated minimum PC requirements to accommodate the graphical enhancements. Full compatibility with existing mods and all previously released downloadable content will be included at launch, ensuring a comprehensive package for both new players and longtime fans.
