Tencent’s Fate Trigger, a cross-platform anime-style tactical shooter developed by Saroasis Studios using Unreal Engine 5, is set to begin closed beta testing on July 25, 2025. The test recruitment is now open for players to apply via Steam and the official website. Players who participated in last year’s Alpha test will automatically qualify for this phase.
The closed beta will last for over four weeks and will introduce new game modes including Ranked Matches, High-Speed Trials, and 8v8 Team Battles. These modes promise unprecedented strategic depth and intense, thrilling gameplay experiences.
Fate Trigger combines hero-based tactical shooting with battle royale elements, featuring a diverse cast of anime-inspired heroes, each with unique abilities and tactical roles. The game supports cross-platform play across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, iOS, and Android, aiming to deliver fast-paced, team-oriented combat.
