Nintendo has officially announced the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, set to release on July 15, 2025, just days before Amazon Prime Day. The new console will be available worldwide through major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. According to Nintendo’s official statement, the Switch 2 features upgraded hardware with a 4K OLED display, enhanced processing power, and improved battery life to deliver a superior gaming experience.
To coincide with the launch, Amazon Prime Day 2025 will offer exclusive discounts on the Nintendo Switch 2 console bundles, select Switch games, controllers, and accessories such as microSD cards and 4K TVs optimized for gaming. Nintendo’s official Mario website confirms that these deals aim to provide gamers with the best value during the shopping event.
Retailers have prepared stock replenishments to meet anticipated demand, with live stock trackers available on TechRadar and GamesRadar to help customers secure their consoles. Nintendo Life forums indicate strong community interest, with many users planning to purchase the Switch 2 at launch.
