Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake Released: Classic Skateboarding Returns
On June 27, 2023, Vicarious Visions and Activision officially launched the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 remake worldwide on multiple platforms including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. This release brings back the beloved skateboarding games originally launched in the early 2000s, rebuilt with modern graphics and updated gameplay mechanics to appeal to both longtime fans and new players.
The remake features faithfully recreated levels, skaters, and tricks from the original titles, enhanced with improved visuals, smoother controls, and online multiplayer modes. According to an official statement from Activision, the project aimed to preserve the core experience while integrating quality-of-life improvements such as updated user interfaces and expanded customization options.
