Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake Confirmed for 2025 Release
Ubisoft has officially announced the remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, scheduled for release in early 2025. The remake will be developed by Ubisoft’s Quebec studio, the same team behind Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. This project aims to deliver a fully rebuilt experience using the latest generation technology, enhancing graphics, gameplay mechanics, and world design.
According to Ubisoft’s official statement, the remake will not be a simple remaster but a comprehensive overhaul, featuring improved naval combat, updated parkour systems, and expanded side content. The game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
The decision to remake Black Flag stems from its enduring popularity and the studio’s desire to bring the pirate adventure to a new generation of players with modernized visuals and gameplay improvements.
