Gloomy Eyes: A Heartwarming Horror Adventure Inspired by Tim Burton

Gloomy Eyes is a charming horror adventure game inspired by the artistic style of Tim Burton, reminiscent of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Developed by the Belgian studio Fishing Cactus, this unique “self-cooperative” game allows players to control two distinct characters, each with their own abilities and skills. Players often need to switch between these characters to solve puzzles and progress through the game.

Set in a world trapped in eternal night where the living and the undead are in constant conflict, Gloomy Eyes tells the story of Gloomy, a lovable zombie boy, and Nena, a mischievous human girl. Defying the rules, these two special souls join forces on a quest to bring back daylight.

The game features handcrafted diorama-style levels and puzzles that require players to alternate control between Gloomy and Nena. Complementing the gameplay is a memorable and unique original soundtrack crafted by Fishing Cactus.

Gloomy Eyes is scheduled to release later this year on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Interested players can add the game to their wishlist on Steam.
