Details about the upcoming multiplayer game modes in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 have been accidentally leaked. One of the companies involved in the development of Black Ops 7 unintentionally published information meant for developer-only testing within the Xbox Call of Duty app, giving players a glimpse of what to expect in the next installment.
According to CharlieIntel, images and daily message cards intended for an internal test scheduled for the weekend were made public. These revealed several multiplayer modes currently in development.
New Modes in Black Ops 7:
- Skirmish: A large-scale 20v20 mode where two teams of 20 compete on a large map to complete objectives. Key gameplay involves using wingsuits to flank opponents, capturing points, destroying payloads, and transmitting valuable data to score points. The first team to reach the score limit wins.
- Overload: A mode where two teams of six fight over a neutral EMP device, which must be delivered to the enemy base to score, reminiscent of classic neutral attack modes from games like Halo.
Black Ops 7 is co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and was announced at the Summer Game Fest earlier this month. This marks the first time the Black Ops series has had consecutive releases, surprising many Call of Duty fans.
