Recently, the insider GameRol revealed new details about the storyline of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA6), confirming rumors from 2023. These details cover key missions, character relationships, and the overall narrative structure.
According to GameRol, the game will feature a single-player mission line centered around a Russian drug lord. In this mission, the protagonist Jason will tail a plane transporting stolen goods. This mission was leaked back in 2023. Players will form an alliance with the Russians and may receive more related missions later. During the mission, Jason will also deal with stolen goods that fell into the sea, involving subsequent tasks of salvaging and recovering them.
The leak also reveals that Jason will break Lucia out of prison, a plot point strongly hinted at in the second trailer. Additionally, the two will plan a heist at a nightclub called Vault, which appears to be one of the core missions in the game.
It is said that GTA6’s story structure will be similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, using a chapter-based narrative. Currently, the fifth chapter of the game is still in development and not yet completed.
