Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently announced an exciting expansion to the PlayStation VR2 game library, introducing four new titles set to launch on the VR platform that has been available for 16 months. These releases will span from August 2025 through 2026.
The tactical rogue-lite game “Grit and Valor: 1949” is set to debut first on August 21. Following this, Q-Games studio will release the particle-effect-based adventure game “Dreams of Another,” and Studio Chyr will bring a challenging puzzle game titled “Hotel Infinity” later in the year. Looking ahead to 2026, the space survival racing game “METEORA” is scheduled for release.
This announcement marks the largest content update for PSVR2 since its launch in February 2024. The platform had faced criticism for its slow game release pace. By scheduling new titles through next year, Sony signals its ongoing commitment to supporting the device, aiming to expand the VR game library beyond major ports like “Resident Evil 4 VR” and “Gran Turismo 7.”
Details on pricing and exact release dates for the new games have yet to be disclosed.
