Chengdu Xingyue Chenshi Cultural Development Co., Ltd., a company based in Chengdu High-tech Zone, has officially acquired the global permanent rights to the classic cultural IP game series “Xuan-Yuan Sword.” Building upon the original game storylines, the company has launched a comprehensive development plan covering the entire industry chain, including film, animation, games, and digital cultural tourism.
The initial phase will focus on developing based on “Xuan-Yuan Sword III: Clouds and Mountains’ End.” Xingyue Chenshi has signed an agreement with New Me Group to integrate resources and jointly develop the full series of “Xuan-Yuan Sword” IP rights. This collaboration will expand around core works such as “Xuan-Yuan Sword III: Clouds and Mountains’ End” and “Xuan-Yuan Sword III Side Story: The Scar of Sky,” extending into literature, animation, film, games, and derivative consumer products.
Additionally, Xingyue Chenshi has partnered with Freedom Cool Whale Pictures to establish the “Xuan-Yuan Sword IP Production Committee.” The first animated theatrical film of “Xuan-Yuan Sword” will be directed by Lu Yang, founder of Freedom Cool Whale and known for works like “Brotherhood of Blades” and “A Writer’s Odyssey.” The screenplay will be penned by Yu Yang.
