The popular action game Stellar Blade has received a significant mod update that greatly enhances outfit customization. Mod creator UMIN has released the “Custom Nano Suit Slot Expansion (+100)” mod, which adds up to 100 additional nano suit slots, dramatically increasing the freedom players have to customize their character’s appearance.
According to the mod author, installing this mod adds 100 new outfits with identical designs directly into the game. However, the main purpose is that these new slots have different skeletal mesh asset paths. This allows other modders to overlay their custom nano suits onto these new slots without replacing the game’s original outfits, enabling more efficient and flexible nano suit modding.
Besides the 100 new slots, the mod also includes the Eve nano suit from the game’s early prototype phase.
Installation and Usage: Players simply need to place all mod files (.pak/.ucas/.utoc) into the StellarBlade\SB\Content\Paks\~mods folder within the game installation directory. After installation, the new outfits can be purchased and unlocked in the in-game camp shop.
For Mod Creators: All new nano suits are located under SB/Content/DLC_Custom/Art/Character/CH_P_EVEMod“XXX” (where XXX is an index from 1 to 100). Creators can replace the CH_P_EVE_Mod_XXX_Body files in this path to customize the outfits.
Notes:
- The initial placeholder outfits are relatively simple.
- The mod should be installed with low priority and the file name can be changed if necessary.
- The author warns not to rely too heavily on this mod as more efficient customization methods may emerge.
- Currently, only nano suits are added, but future updates may include hair, earrings, and other accessories.
